Take time to schedule a prayer vacation or nature retreat.
The grounds, cabin, and chapel are dedicated
as a refuge where individuals may seek
the Lord’s Presence and experience
the truth of God’s Word as written in
Hosea 2: 14
“I will lead you into solitude and
there I shall speak to your heart.”
Nature is a place to refresh and rest, to be restored by the quiet flow of wind, water, & spirit.
Noah’s Ark Retreat serves curious seekers, writers, and artists who desire a quiet getaway overlooking the Illinois River.
Teachers, church staff, & travelers schedule a week or more to rest, and be renewed. Traveling Nurses have chosen to book a three month stay.
Parents, prayer partners, and grandparents visit the cabin and ark chapel to rededicate their families and their vocations to the Lord. A season for learning at the cabin can be a wonderful memory for homeschoolers.
Bird and nature lovers visit the cabin or ark to watch eagles roost in January or just to enjoy the beauty of watching the sun rise over the Illinois River.
Wonder and Awe

”Talk of mysteries! Think of our life in nature–daily to be shown matter, to come in contact with it–rocks, trees, wind on our cheeks! The solid earth! The actual world! The common sense! ” The Maine Woods
