Hello Friends,
I want to welcome old and new friends to the Ambassador Friendship Club, a safe place to grow in faith and friendship.
This BLOG is designed to be a meeting place to study themes which relate to building Christian community and experiencing the Presence of God in our daily lives. The Ambassador Friendship Club was first designed to serve schools as a place to grow in our practical faith: to learn and practice who we are in Christ. It may always be “Essential” to offer a place of refuge, and a place to be “built up” and strengthened in the Holy Spirit, since the ways and customs of our culture often threaten to tear us down and create divisions. Be assured, this online meeting place and Noah’s Ark Chapel are places of welcome offered to help you experience unity, belonging, and purpose.
Please feel encouraged to study and memorize some of the quotes and scriptures shared here.
God has called us to be confident in our character and to be able to stand up against any challenge which may come against us.
Read and memorize scriptures which give you strength, knowing God’s Word is like food for your soul:
A: Ambassador
We are called to invite others to experience the Love of God and to be reconciled to God through Christ.
2 Corinthians 5: 17-21 (NIV) If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.
The old has gone, the new is here. All this is from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.
Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
B: Beloved, Belonging
God has loved us first. He has reached out to us, called us by name, and given us a place of belonging.
Isaiah 43: 1(NIV)
I have called you by name; you are mine.
C: God’s Child, Chosen, Compassionate
. . . To those who did receive him, to those who believe in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1: 12
By the Holy Spiirt, ask God to fill you with His Love, compassion, kindness, humility, genteleness and patience.
. . .Over all these virtues, put on love, which binds them together in perfect unity. Colossians 3: 12-14
